The guest list decides your budget more than any other choice. Agree on the rules early.

  • Split the list. Decide how many guests each side and the couple can invite, before names go on paper.
  • Group by household. Track families as a unit so one invitation and one RSVP covers everyone in the house.
  • Invite per function. Not everyone needs to be at every function. Mehendi and haldi are often for close family only.
  • Ask about food. Collect dietary needs (Jain, vegan, allergies) with the RSVP.
  • Set an RSVP deadline 3–4 weeks before the wedding, and follow up personally with anyone pending.

The free guest list tool handles households, groups, function-wise invitations, dietary notes and RSVPs that sync from your wedding website.
